Changing Landscape: New York City Historical Novels
February 28, 2017, 7:00 PM
Three recent novels use New York City as an historical setting: Sari Wilson’s Girl Through Glass (set in the 1970s), Molly Prentiss’ Tuesday Nights in 1980 (set in the 1980s), and Rachel Cantor’s Good on Paper (set in the 1990s). The authors read from their novels and discuss why they chose these historical periods, and the challenges and opportunities presented by these choices. David Gutowski of the Largehearted Boy moderates.
